How does the Wingit Wishlist work?
Last updated: 1 June 2025
The Wishlist lets you save deals you're interested in and track whether the price drops further. Here's a full breakdown of how it works.
Saving a deal
Tap the heart icon on any deal card in the deals feed or deal detail page. The deal is instantly added to your Wishlist tab. There's no limit on how many deals you can save.
Automatic price tracking
When our monitoring system scans flight prices (three times a day), it checks every route that appears in any user's Wishlist. If the route reappears with a new price, your saved deal is updated with the latest fare automatically — you don't need to do anything.
Price drop notifications
If the price on a wishlisted deal drops by 5% or more below the price you saved it at, you'll receive a push notification immediately. This is particularly useful for deals where you're "almost there" on price — you save it, and Wingit alerts you if it gets even cheaper.
What happens when a deal expires
When a deal expires (the discounted fare is no longer available), your Wishlist item is marked "No longer available" with a grey indicator. The item stays in your Wishlist so you can see the price you were tracking. You can remove expired items manually by tapping the remove icon, or leave them as a reference.
Wishlist is private
Your Wishlist is tied to your account and visible only to you. No one else can see what you've saved.
Where to find your Wishlist
On mobile: the Wishlist tab in the bottom navigation. On web: your profile page includes a Wishlist section when you're signed in.
